The Berkeley City Club
The Berkeley City Club was commissioned in 1927 as the club house of the Berkeley Women's City Club. Designed by the first licensed female architect in California, Julia Morgan, the building is registered as a California Historic Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Affectionately known as the "Little Castle," this beautiful building shares design elements with Julia Morgan's most famous work - Hearst Castle. Who says you can't have a fairy tale castle wedding in California?
